Our family recipe for over a decade.
Plantain balm has been a staple in our home for more than ten years. Made with wildcrafted plantain leaves, extra virgin olive oil and local Alberta beeswax, this simple balm has earned a permanent place in our home, packs and everyday skin-care routine.
Because family life is hard on skin.
If you have multiple kids like we do, you know the drill: everyday bumps, scrapes, scratches, rough patches and mystery marks seem to be part of life.
Plantain balm became one of those simple things we kept reaching for, year after year. Eventually, the family recipe we had been making for ourselves became something we wanted to share with other families too.
Three ingredients. That's it.
Wildcrafted plantain leaves are infused into extra virgin olive oil and blended with high-quality Alberta beeswax from a local farm, creating a smooth balm that's easy to keep close at hand.
This balm actually comes into the forest with us.
Wild harvesting means paper wasps, bee hives, hidden hornet holes, poison ivy, sharp branches and whatever else the forest decides to throw at you.
I've been stung on the head, hit on the legs and walked straight into plants I definitely would have preferred to notice first. Plantain balm is one of the things I keep close when we're out harvesting.
It's not a product we created because plantain sounded good on a label. It's something our family was making and using long before we ever sold it.
One little tin. A lot of uses.
Keep it at home, tuck it into a bag, or bring it along on outdoor adventures. Its smooth, concentrated texture makes it an easy addition to everyday care for dry, rough or weather-exposed skin.
A small amount goes a long way.
Made for our family first.
A simple wildcrafted plantain balm we've trusted in our own home for more than a decade, now made in small batches for yours.
