Shipping policy

We are a small, family-run business based in rural Leduc County, Alberta 🌲

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days. During busy periods or seasonal harvest times, processing may lean toward the longer end of that window.

Because we live in a rural area without direct access to a post office or courier services, parcel drop-offs are done once per week. This means shipping timelines are separate from processing times—your order may be prepared and ready before the next scheduled drop-off.

That said, if we’re already heading into town for additional errands, we will absolutely bring parcels along—so your order may ship out sooner than expected.

We truly appreciate your patience and support—it allows us to keep doing what we love and share it with you.

If there is a problem with your order, or a problem ordering, please send me a text for the fastest response!  if there is a problem on my end like out of stock items or address issues, I will reach out via email or text message to the number on file to offer fast help and resolution. We pride ourselves in the highest standard of customer service.

Shipping times shown at checkout are carrier estimates only and are not guaranteed, especially during peak holiday periods. Once an order has shipped, delivery timelines are outside our control.

If a shipment experiences a significant delay or stops moving for an extended period, we are happy to assist by opening a service ticket with the carrier on your behalf.

Because of the nature of our handcrafted, wild-harvested products, we do not offer standard returns or refunds once an order has been shipped. However, we stand behind our work and will always do our best to make things right.

If your order arrives damaged, lost, or defective — whether in Canada, the U.S., or internationally — please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@albertawildcraft.ca

🇨🇦 Shipping within Canada

All products are available for shipping anywhere in Canada through UPS or Canada Post.
Processing time is usually 3– 7 business days, depending on harvest season and market volume.
All Canadian parcels include tracking.

🇺🇸 Shipping to the USA

As of March 2026, all U.S. orders are shipped via Canada Post Tracked Packet with full tracking from our facility to your door. All shipments are sent duties-paid (DDP), meaning all applicable U.S. customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees are calculated and included in your total at checkout — you will not face any additional charges upon delivery.

Customs Processing & Delivery Times

All international shipments must clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection. While most packages clear customs within 1-3 business days, delays can occur due to random inspections, high shipment volumes, or additional documentation requirements. Customs holds are beyond our control and may extend delivery times. We appreciate your patience during the customs clearance process.

Tracking Your Order

Your tracking number will be emailed once your order ships and can be used to monitor your package through both Canada Post and USPS systems as it crosses the border and travels to your address.

🌍 International Orders – Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, VAT, and import fees assessed by their country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery.

Alberta Wildcraft is not responsible for customs delays, refused deliveries, or packages returned due to unpaid fees. Returned packages due to unpaid customs charges are not eligible for refunds.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to our Shipping and Returns Policies.
